Help us put cannabis legalization back on the ballot in South Dakota
In order to qualify our legalization initiative for the November 5, 2024 ballot, our campaign must collect signatures from over 17,500 registered South Dakota voters and submit the petitions to the Secretary of State by May 7, 2024.
We need volunteers to help us collect those signatures! There are two ways to volunteer: circulate petitions and/or notarize petitions (see more details below).

Circulate Petitions
Circulating petitions is the most impactful way you can help us work towards legalization.
You can collect signatures from literally anyone you know.
You can circulate at public events like concerts, festivals, or parades.
You can even circulate at events organized by the campaign.
You can sign up to circulate petitions using the volunteer form. After we receive your submitted form, the campaign will be in touch with you to schedule a training.
Volunteer as a Notary Public
Notaries play an important role in the process by notarizing petition sheets for circulators; And so, we’re looking for notaries from all across the state.
